We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

The Director of IT will provide strategic leadership across the global technology landscape, overseeing ERP systems, cloud infrastructure, data integration, and enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This role will manage both the ERP and IT functions across all API Group entities—including ACCA, Cocovina, and future integrations such as API Polybag—ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This leader will drive the transition from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), lead cloud migration efforts, manage key MSP and ISV partners, and guide the organization through complex global implementations. The ideal candidate is a strategic, financially fluent technology leader with the capability to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Leadership & Digital Transformation
  • Lead the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) across all business units.
  • Oversee the transition from the homegrown ERP to D365, using Microsoft Fabric as a transitional integration layer.
  • Evaluate 26 legacy applications, determining which systems to integrate, modernize, or sunset.
  • Support the Vietnam D365 rollout, assessing whether it should be integrated or kept as a separate instance.
  • Integrate SCADA (Ignition) real-time production data into D365 and other enterprise applications.
  • Assess and automate manual processes within Thailand operations.

  • Lead the organizational migration from on‑premises infrastructure to Azure cloud.
  • Ensure global IT systems remain scalable, secure, and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Define and enforce cybersecurity standards and governance across all regions.
Business, Financial & Operational Alignment
  • Use strong financial acumen to understand ERP financial flows, margin impact, and accounting/finance interactions.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align technology strategies with business goals.
  • Manage a $3MM annual technology budget, ensuring responsible spending, accurate forecasting, and ROI-driven decision-making.
Leadership & Vendor Management
  • Provide strategic oversight—not hands-on technical work—while leading ERP and IT teams across multiple countries.
  • Manage MSPs and ISVs, ensuring accountability for delivery, timelines, SLAs, and budget adherence.
  • Drive strong project and implementation management practices, reducing change orders through robust front-end planning.
  • Develop staff capabilities, build cross-functional collaboration, and effectively gain buy-in across global stakeholders.
  • Establish and refine SOPs for technology processes and governance.
Qualifications

  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and understanding cost/margin impacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage global vendors, and influence across functions and cultures.
  • Strong project management experience supporting large-scale system implementations.
  • Ability to travel internationally and work across multiple time zones as needed.
