Position Overview
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for general ledger management, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and supporting key system and audit initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the company’s system of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports
- Support fixed asset accounting and payroll journal entries
- Assist with ERP system implementation and RFQ processes
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s financial integrity
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
- 5–10 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Proficiency in financial systems and modern accounting software (ERP experience highly preferred)
- Tech-savvy with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to flexible work schedules when needed
