This is a full-time, 1st shift position. We are seeking a reliable, independent, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate possesses integrity, is a team player, problem solver, communicates effectively, has a strong sense of urgency, and strives to meet or exceed customer expectations.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling hydraulic cylinders
- Inspection of final assemblies
- Performing hydraulic tests on cylinders
- Installing various hydraulic cylinder components including bushings, bearings, grease zerks, seals etc.
- Cleaning and preparing cylinders for painting
- Painting cylinders
- Packaging and preparing cylinders for shipping
- Maintain accuracy within our ERP system (i.e. timekeeping, BOM management, etc...)
General Responsibilities:
- Be willing to help the team in any area needed
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Follow all safety requirements as trained from safety program.
- Utilize required PPE
- Participate in continuous improvement
- Adhere to all policies laid out in the company handbook
Requirements:
- Mechanical assembly experience in related industry is preferred
- Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings/prints
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Growth and solution oriented mindset
- Constant standing, lifting, bending, walking, and working with your hands throughout your entire shift
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy (up to 75lbs) items
- Possess basic computer skills and able to use basic web browser/computer functions
- Proficient using and reading tape measures and other measuring equipment
