Overview
For this seasonal role, we are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to operate vehicles for transporting passengers safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or commercial driving who excel in customer service and vehicle maintenance. The Shuttle Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely transportation services while maintaining high safety standards and excellent customer interactions.
Timeline:
- Position Starts roughly January 4th - April 1st.
Requirements:
- CDL (commercial drivers license) Required
Duties
- Safely operate 14-28 passenger shuttle vehicles along designated routes.
- Driving will be primarily from Steamboat to Hayden multiple times a day.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and answering questions courteously.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns.
Skills
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to operate confidently in winter driving conditions.
