What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Director position at apexnc?
An employee in this class performs a variety of administrative and
professional duties in the management of recreation activities for the Town
including personnel management, facility operations, contract
oversight and maintenance, budget monitoring and developing and maintaining
operating standards. This position is responsible for managing, directing and
coordinating the operations of all Town recreation programs. This position is
responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the Master
Plan, Strategic Plan and CAPRA accreditation initiatives. This
position develops, monitors and implements the overall recreation strategy of
the Town and develops collaborative relationships with community leaders. This
position assists the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources director as
needed and fills in when the director is unavailable.
This position reports to the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Director. This position has supervisory responsibilities.
