Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Engineer:

• Support soil and groundwater remediation projects.
• Oversee operations and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems including groundwater and soil vapor extraction.
• Oversee collection soil, water, and air samples for O&M purposes.
• Assist with project engineering design.
• Oversee field work to ensure work is done in accordance with work plans and other plans and specifications.
• Oversee systems are operating in compliance with regulatory operating permits.
• Review and oversee field activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory regulations including AQMD, SWPPP, WDR, and hazardous material/waste regulations.
• Support oversight of field technicians related to O&M.
• Oversee the installation of remediation systems.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret O&M data.
• Write technical reports and proposals.
• Actively develop your own career growth.

What we're looking for:

• BA/BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• 4 to 6 years of related experience with field data collection and technical writing.
• High proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Strong organization and record keeping skills.
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
• Experience with stormwater is a plus.
• Professional license or Engineer-in-Training is a plus.
