The Work
- Enter accounts payable invoices into the accounting system
- Obtain AP invoice approvals from appropriate management team members
- Enter cash receipts into the accounting system
- Assist in accounts receivable billing / invoice preparation
- Perform general ledger entry and reconciliations
- Work on ad-hoc Finance projects in the direction of the VP of Finance or CFO.
- Other various clerical tasks as needed within the department or company
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in industry.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP system is preferred.
- Accounts payable experience
- General ledger experience
- Computer technical skills, particularly with Excel
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- “Get-it-done” attitude and behavior.
- The ability to learn and perform multiple functions for redundancy within Finance.
- The ability to work with others within the company to solve finance-related issues.
- Willingness to work to deadlines and perform tasks outside standard work hours if needed to meet those deadlines.
- Required: Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
