Apex Vets is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital seeking experienced ER technicians who want to work at a high level in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This is a hands-on role focused on real emergency medicine—not basic support work.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage hospitalized patients
- Obtain histories, perform TPRs, and report changes in condition
- Place and maintain IV catheters (peripheral and central)
- Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
- Perform blood draws and run in-house diagnostics
- Assist with anesthesia and emergency procedures
- Take radiographs and support diagnostic workflows
- Calculate and administer fluids and CRIs
- Provide wound care and bandaging
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate clearly with doctors, team members, and clients
Requirements
- LVT / RVT / CVT preferred
- ER or critical care experience preferred
- Strong technical and clinical skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and accountable
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
