Overnight Valet Parking Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Overnight Valet Parking Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to guests, and will communicate with management and team members in a courteous, professional manner. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety of vehicles, and making note of all preexisting damage to vehicles, prior to moving the car. This position is also responsible for managing traffic flow in the parking area. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor. Must have strong English speaking and writing skills.

***This position is located in Delray Beach, at a luxury, boutique hotel, with a steak house restaurant on site. Pay is $15/hour plus tips. Schedule would be set for part-time, 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday nights, weekly.***

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist them with parking their vehicles.
• Safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Notate all vehicle damages prior to moving the car, to avoid damage claims.
• Monitor the parking area to ensure all vehicles are parked correctly and securely.
• Provide assistance to guests with any inquiries or concerns regarding parking services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or incidents that arise.
• Assist in coordinating vehicle deliveries as needed, ensuring timely service for guests.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including manual transmission.
• Experience in cash handling and familiarity with retail math principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively and courteously with guests and team members.
• Previous valet parking experience is required.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
