Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Independent Personal Fitness Coach to join our health and fitness community. You can set your own schedule and build your clientele. Each of your clients will receive a 40% discount off of Apex Open Gym rates and you'll receive a free unlimited Open Gym membership as well. This role offers the flexibility to design personalized training programs and work independently with clients of varying fitness levels. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for health, fitness, and helping individuals achieve their wellness goals through innovative coaching techniques. Experience in diverse fitness disciplines such as group fitness, CrossFit, Pilates, Yoga, cycling, and sports coaching is highly desirable. This position provides an excellent opportunity for fitness professionals to expand their expertise and build a dedicated client base within a supportive environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement customized fitness programs tailored to individual client needs, goals, and abilities.
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with personal clients.
- Educate clients on physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and proper exercise techniques to ensure safe and effective workouts.
- Demonstrate exercises and correct form to maximize results while minimizing injury risk.
- Track client progress and adjust programs accordingly to meet evolving fitness objectives.
- Promote health and wellness education through engaging teaching methods.
- Maintain a professional gym or health club environment by ensuring equipment is used safely and properly maintained.
- Foster strong client relationships through motivational coaching and excellent communication skills.
- Stay current with industry trends in personal training, program design, and fitness sales to continuously enhance service offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in personal training or coaching within a gym or health club setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise science.
- Expertise in diverse fitness modalities such as Kickboxing, CrossFit, Pilates, Yoga, Cycling, Group Fitness, Dancing, and Sports Coaching.
- Ability to design effective workout programs that align with clients’ goals using principles of program design.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Strong sales skills related to fitness services with the ability to promote programs effectively.
- Familiarity with health club operations and maintaining a safe workout environment.
- Passion for helping clients improve their health through innovative exercise techniques and personalized coaching strategies.
