The Blueprint (Role Profile)

- $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift
- Oversee the day-to-day operation while providing technical support to associates in given work area(s).
- Work with production supervisors to carry out production plans by setting priorities.
- Report to production supervisors or appropriate members of management regarding associate issues.
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve issues or conflicts.
- Ensure proper training, coaching, and feedback to new employees.
- Assess, identify, and address training opportunities, including job skills training and goal setting.
- Facilitate effective team meetings.
- Submit work orders when needed.
- Responsible for following safety/regulatory policies and procedures, as well as reporting safety/regulatory concerns to the Production, Safety, or Quality Manager.
- Willingness to help as an operator in work area.
- Ability to understand, review, and speak about the Daily Production Board.
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Ability to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
- Strong leadership/communication/people skills.
- Solid mechanical ability.
- In-depth understanding of the business and production workflow.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as required.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours, if necessary.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and/or materials.
