Description
APEX TK is seeking an experienced Airborne and Space ISR SME to support the Department of War Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW I&S) in Arlington, VA.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing high-level airborne and/or space ISR expertise and direct counsel to senior-level leadership on issues including platform capabilities such as multi-intelligence capabilities such as SAR/GMTI radar, SIGINT/ELINT suites and other sensor requirements.
- Providing national security recommendations to facilitate government direction, acquisition oversight and programmatic recommendations for airborne and space ISR programs supporting the DoW and the IC.
- Representing USW(I&S) positions and equities in ISR requirements and programming efforts including capability-based assessments, DoW and IC studies, and other efforts as applicable.
- Performing technical reviews and conducting research and analysis; draft formal positions; review and analyze documents; prepare briefs, talking papers, memoranda, and letters in the form of OSW staff packages, and other duties as required.
- Supporting the Airborne and Space ISR team throughout the PPBE process to include participation in the OUSW(I&S) focus teams, the development of issue papers, and other PPBE related activities.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 10 years of experience with DoW Airborne ISR platforms (manned or unmanned).
- 5 years of experience with the DoW PPBE process, program oversight/ guidance, capabilities development, or resourcing on a military or interagency staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Experience supporting OUSW (I&S)
Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
