  • Top 3 requirements:
  • Experience configuring Workday Payroll (i.e. done earning codes, run payroll itself, taxes, etc.)
  • Experience building workday Benefits (Backend exp with crafting the module) - delivered it into production, then supported it from there
  • Hands on development of the configurations in Workday
  • Able to solve problems, efficient, give direction
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience in Large scale environments
  • Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

They have a separate Configuration and Integrations teams. They have three larger teams which control the domains – payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, etc.

They’re looking for people who can build configurations in their Workday platform – not looking for business analysts or support analysts – someone who has ‘gotten their hands dirty’, able to solve problems and give direction, give direction for improvements as well – efficient

Looking for someone who has built the configurations themselves – not just supported it – delivered it into production, then supported it from there.

Configuration: how does the system act when someone submits something. i.e. you have to go in and put in direct deposit. What is the employee allowed to do/allow to see? And when it’s put in where does it go? Goes to an approval path, etc. – that’s configuration
