Our financial services client is looking for a VP, Digital Marketing, to join their team!
You must come from an investment bank, asset management, consulting space to be considered.
This role is responsible for organizing, implementing, and managing digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive engagement across institutional audiences.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy and roadmap tailored to institutional audiences.
-Lead UX and journey mapping across all digital touchpoints.
-Build and maintain a digital customer acquisition funnel and lead generation strategy.
-Ensure websites remain current and engaging through a proactive, data-driven approach.
-Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed on digital innovations and tools.
-Establish benchmarks and success metrics to optimize audience reach.
-Manage digital marketing initiatives across websites, portals, email, social media, and paid media (SEM, paid social, syndication).
-Email Marketing: oversee the client communications email calendar, standardize and execute end-to-end email campaigns (e.g., promotional blasts, welcome campaigns, drip campaigns, newsletters, fund updates, invitations). Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, timing, and design to optimize performance.
-Lead Generation: collaborate with Business Management & Technology teams to optimize list generation via Salesforce, grow and maintain email subscriber lists, identify data gaps, and define marketing personas for improved targeting.
-Website Optimization: enhance website content and campaign landing pages for institutional audiences.
Work with designers, content writers, and marketing team members on digital campaign development. Optimize content for search visibility and performance.
-Compliance: ensure adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and internal standards.
-Reporting & Analytics: monitor and report on campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions, bounce rates, unsubscribes). Provide actionable insights and ROI analysis.
-Collaborate with Business Management & IR teams to automate client engagement data for sales enablement.
-Team Leadership & Collaboration: Oversee digital marketing resources and manage budgets across channels, define and codify digital marketing processes, and act as a digital subject matter expert across business, marketing, creative, brand, and sales teams.
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
-8 years of experience in digital and email marketing.
-Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated industry is HIGHLY preferred
-Proven experience with multi-channel content distribution and digital mediums.
-Proficiency with platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Cvent, Seismic, or similar.
-Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
-Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies, concepts, and best practices.
-Expertise in email marketing (deliverability, compliance, formatting, A/B testing, campaign types, performance analysis).
-Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
-Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
