Job Description:
Job Title: Technology Software Engineer
Duration: 12 Months Contract Role
Location: Onsite Required: 3 days per week (Hybrid)

Position Summary:
Currently seeking an experienced Senior Virtualization Engineer to support the mission of delivering fast and reliable Hosted Virtual Desktop Automation solutions across the enterprise. As part of the automation team, this role is responsible for full stack development, deployment, and operations support of the virtual platform automation infrastructure.
The position requires strong coding and workflow development skills using C#, PowerShell, SQL, or similar languages. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues is a critical part of this role.
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting production code
Experience designing and implementing front-end UI that allows independent releases and rollbacks
Experience supporting and deploying pre-production and production environments
Extensive code and workflow development experience using JavaScript (vRO), C#, PowerShell, and SQL
Strong experience using Jira and Confluence for documentation
Proven ability to create and consume secure RESTful APIs
Understanding of software and/or application lifecycle
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience in an operations role
Networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VLAN/VXLAN, and virtual switch/NIC configuration
Experience with VMware and virtualization technologies
Experience with vRealize Network Insight, Log Insight, and vRealize Operations
DevOps deployment experience using Bitbucket
Splunk troubleshooting experience
Microservices design experience
Experience using Postman
