We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of complex technology systems in a customer-facing environment. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys solving challenging problems, working directly with customers, and supporting modern infrastructure and containerized applications.
As a key member of the Operations team, you'll serve as a trusted technical partner to clients, ensuring system reliability, resolving operational issues, and helping drive technology enhancements that support business objectives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of complex technology systems in a customer-facing environment. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys solving challenging problems, working directly with customers, and supporting modern infrastructure and containerized applications.
As a key member of the Operations team, you'll serve as a trusted technical partner to clients, ensuring system reliability, resolving operational issues, and helping drive technology enhancements that support business objectives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, responding to operational questions, issues, and support requests.
- Support and maintain video management and Network Video Recorder (NVR) systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and communication issues.
- Monitor and support containerized applications and system performance.
- Participate in customer meetings, change management activities, and technical reviews.
- Perform software and hardware upgrades across Linux, Windows, and commercial off-the-shelf technologies.
- Assist with testing, deployment, and implementation of software solutions alongside Software Engineering and QA teams.
- Train operations personnel on new products, features, enhancements, and operational procedures.
- Document system architecture, configuration settings, troubleshooting procedures, and technical changes.
- Recommend improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical systems outside normal business hours.
Required

- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry experience
- Video streaming technologies and protocols such as:
- RTSP
- WebRTC
- ONVIF
- Linux and Windows administration
- Network infrastructure and communications technologies
- Change management and configuration management processes
- Supporting 24x7 operational environments
- Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, QA, and Operations teams
- 3 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure support, operations support, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, servers, networks, or cloud-based environments
- Understanding of software deployment, testing, and system maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
- You enjoy being the person others rely on to solve complex technical problems.
- You thrive in customer-facing environments.
- You communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You take initiative and can manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
