Senior Estimator - Mission-Critical/Data Center Projects

Location: Buckhead, GA

Salary Range: $125,000-$140,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview

We're seeking a Senior Estimator with strong mechanical and electrical expertise and proven experience in data center projects. This role is pivotal in supporting pre-construction efforts and delivering accurate, competitive pricing for complex, large-scale projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage detailed pre-construction pricing reports for mission-critical facilities.
• Coordinate bids and work closely with procurement teams to ensure accurate cost analysis.
• Communicate with subcontractors across multiple markets to secure competitive rates.
• Evaluate scopes of work and confirm alignment with project requirements.
• Prepare and review comprehensive cost estimates for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver timely, precise estimates.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• Hands-on experience with data center projects (technical expertise required).
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to develop scopes of work and evaluate subcontractor proposals.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Utility background (flexible if strong data center experience).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in estimating or related roles.
• Open to Project Managers looking to transition into estimating.
