Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. This role requires a candidate with leadership qualities who can drive solutions, translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications, and interface directly with users. Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or related roles, with significant experience managing work and leading projects.
Technical Skills:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually. The pay rate for contract work is expected to be between $55.00 and $80.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.

- Design, construct, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical data engineering tasks.
- Lead and execute data projects with minimal oversight, including setting meetings and guiding team strategy.
- Work with healthcare data, including clinical quality data and national claims data sets.
- Ensure data solutions align with data governance and data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Ingest and process large datasets to support market analysis and competitor comparisons.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or related roles, with significant experience managing work and leading projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and SparkSQL.
- Familiarity with Python for data engineering tasks.
- Required knowledge of Databricks.
- Experience with database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with healthcare data, particularly from Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Epic systems.
- Background in clinical quality, market analysis, or value-based care domains.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., CMS).
