You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions tailored to modern manufacturing environments.
Overview
- Strategic role focused on manufacturing technology systems
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Identify process gaps and translate them into technical solutions
- Determine what systems are needed and how they integrate
- Define which systems should serve as the source of truth across the tech stack
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions
- Architect end-to-end systems integrating IoT, MES, ERP, and automation technologies
- Lead workshops and presentations to gain stakeholder alignment
- Drive smart manufacturing initiatives such as predictive maintenance and digital twins
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, robotics, edge computing) for continuous improvement
- Oversee implementation and ensure alignment with industry standards
- Create architecture artifacts showing system alternatives and recommendations
- Advise on system ownership (e.g., QMS vs. PLM for quality management)
- Document technical specifications and provide training for successful adoption
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years in solution architecture or systems integration strategy
- Hands-on expertise with ERP, PLM, MES, WMS, QMS
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, SCADA, MES, ERP)
- Proven success in manufacturing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, or consumer goods
- Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, middleware)
- Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexibility as needed)
- Travel: Minimal (0–10%)
