We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing an advanced radar system. This professional will operate within a matrixed engineering environment, collaborating closely with software development, hardware development, analysis, logistics, and test and integration teams to lead trade study development and plan technical efforts. Senior Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead systems engineering activities, including Concept of Operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis, and system architecting.
- Develop essential systems engineering artifacts such as Requirements Specifications, Test Procedures, Test Reports, and Model-Based Systems Engineering content.
- Plan and execute complex engineering activities using independent judgment to select and adapt standard practices.
- Interface daily with supervisors, technical staff, and client counterparts to guide engineering efforts and ensure project milestones are met.
- Coordinate cross-discipline technical efforts across electrical, mechanical, and software engineering domains.
- Manage technical risks, conduct reliability analysis, and support project schedule and cost estimations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
- 12 years of general engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 10 years with a Master’s degree.
- Must possess 6 years of direct systems engineering experience, or 3 years if holding a specialized Systems Engineering degree or certification.
- Proven expertise in deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in executing Systems Engineering Management Plans, Requirements Verification Traceability Matrices, and Interface Control Documents.
- Experience with MagicDraw or other Model-Based Systems Engineering modeling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to estimate engineering efforts accurately and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with DOORS or other requirements database tools.
- Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes and methods.
- Object Management Group Certified System Modeler Professional certification or INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification.
