Senior Manager, Card Marketing
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Card Marketing to support the Head of Credit Marketing on a six-month contract. This role will lead strategic initiatives to drive cardholder engagement and spend, while managing a small team and collaborating across key business functions.
Location: Washington, DC; New York, NY; Austin, TX; or Chicago, IL (Onsite 3 days per week; 2 days for New York-based candidates)
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in credit card marketing at scale.
- Analyze consumer insights and market trends to inform marketing initiatives.
- Oversee campaign management, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer engagement goals.
- Develop and execute card marketing strategies, including onboarding programs and spend stimulation campaigns.
- Utilize data analysis to measure campaign performance and optimize future marketing efforts.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to maximize marketing impact.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8 years of experience in card marketing or financial services marketing. With at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of card products and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in data analysis and digital marketing practices.
- Experience in brand management and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Demonstrated success in campaign management and project management.
- Familiarity with Adobe marketing platforms and Tableau reporting.
