Position Summary
The Salesforce Technical Architect serves as the technical authority for the Salesforce platform, responsible for designing scalable solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining system integrity and performance. This role provides technical leadership and strategic direction for Salesforce initiatives ensuring seamless integration across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud platforms.
As a Technical Architect, you are both a visionary and a meticulous problem solver. Key Responsibilities
The Technical Architect will be responsible for:
- Architect and lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, with a focus on scalability, performance, and compliance.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
- Establishing technical standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Translate complex business requirements into elegant, maintainable Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow automation, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-Sales, Service, Operations, and Product-to define technical roadmaps and deliver intelligent customer experiences.
- Define and enforce development standards, DevOps practices, and reusable components.
- Managing technical debt and platform optimization initiatives.
- Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues.
- Participate in other activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions for Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development.
- Mentoring development teams and providing technical leadership.
- Evaluating new Salesforce features and technologies for potential adoption.
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Provide application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects, and providing root cause analysis for defects. Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance-related issues.
- Support post deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds. (Sales, Marketing Cloud)
- 10 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Visualforce.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple domain architect certifications.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.
- Extensive experience with enterprise integration patterns and architecture.
- Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
- Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems. (KAM, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of security principles and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience leading complex technical implementations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agentforce, Salesforce AI capabilities, and tools like MuleSoft and Informatica.
- Familiarity with NetZero Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools. (Gearset)
- Experience with Informatica, ZoomInfo, Lucid, Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Background in agile development methodologies.
