QA Analyst - Corporate Actions | Middle Office
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
This position supports a middle office corporate actions modernization project by ensuring the seamless integration and correct results across approximately 20 interconnected applications. The role focuses on providing comprehensive testing support for the onboarding of a new SaaS vendor solution, validating data feeds, and ensuring all systems function as intended.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: Approximately 3 years of QA experience, ideally in banking, accounting, or middle office environments. Experience testing connections and integrations between multiple applications is required.
Technical Skills: Experience with Jira and test management tools. Must be comfortable with both manual and automation testing approaches.
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.

- Provide testing support to ensure all applications are connected and producing accurate outcomes.
- Validate that data feeds from the primary platform to internal systems are functioning correctly.
- Conduct testing across numerous applications throughout the onboarding and integration process.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Business Analyst for story writing, agile delivery, and ongoing testing cycles.
- Participate in production support, helping to triage and resolve issues post-go-live.
- Contribute to test environment setup, test data identification, and configuration.
- Develop detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure application quality.
- Recommend program improvements or corrections based on testing results.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and project teams.

- This is a contract role with the potential for conversion based on performance and budget.
- Internal training will be provided in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- The role involves close collaboration with Business Analyst, PMO, Development, and Business teams.
