Job Description: As Marketing Manager, you will create and deliver effective marketing programs for one or more investment products or distribution channels using omnichannel B2B2C marketing activations for our target audiences, working closely with partners from across the organization including Corporate Marketing, Corporate Communications, Product, Digital, Web, Compliance and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and support end-to-end marketing plans that align with stated business objectives, leading from ideation and development using data and market research to stakeholder and compliance review, launch and KPI tracking; leveraging the right mix of content, digital and traditional materials, campaigns, presentations and other deliverables
  • Take the driver’s seat to project manage and lead experts from multiple internal teams and/or external agencies to land best-in-class deliverables supporting your marketing plans
  • Collaborate with the Sales/Business Development and Market Research to understand personas and pain points, to create data-driven profiles and map buyer journeys
  • Drive messaging development to create compelling narratives that connect the needs of target audiences with BNY Investments offerings to build awareness, consideration and conversion
  • Work closely with Global Content, Sales/Business Development and other stakeholders to ensure thought leadership is aligned with buyer profiles by distribution channel and across the sales cycle
  • Partner closely with all areas of Investments and Corporate Marketing, including Corporate Communications, to execute campaign marketing deliverables and promote our capabilities in the media
  • Support client acquisition and retention programs using traditional and digital media, as warranted, with clear marketing and commercial KPIs
  • Track and understand marketing analytics and commercial impact and refine marketing strategies based on intel and results
  • Manage compliance process and coordination to ensure all materials adhere to the policies and procedures of BNY Legal and Compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Understand competitive landscape and share trends, best-in-class strategies and opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a hybrid contract opportunity expecting 4 days onsite in Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree, or the equivalent of work experience required
  • 5 years of marketing and communication experience; experience in investments, financial services or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • Effective written and oral communications and interpersonal skills; experience presenting to and influencing subject matter experts and leadership preferred
  • Confidence and flexibility to work in a sometimes-ambiguous environment, building best-in-class strategies and deliverables through an iterative process with multiple decision makers
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, new requests, innovative approaches to marketing strategy and tight deadlines, executing on time and on budget
  • A strong team player with both the ability to work independently and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated skills in managing complex projects from inception through completion, proficiency at prioritization, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and operate under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated track record of success in executing strategic marketing and communications plans, including one or more of the following:
  • Successful execution of plans and campaigns for B2B and/or B2B2C audiences with demonstrated results
  • Development of a wide range of sales tools in partnership with designers, content creators, digital teams, video producers, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to write for a variety of mediums (e.g., print, digital, social and different formats and lengths) to ensure consistent, relevant messaging to target audiences
  • Successful leadership of go-to-market strategies for new products or audiences with demonstrated results
  • Innovative approaches using data, AI, enterprise-to-consumer marketing, etc. to launch and manage successfully targeted lead generation and nurturing campaigns
  • Project management of large-scale marketing initiatives with multiple stakeholders including those outside Marketing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe products required; knowledge of Salesforce or similar client relationship management (CRM) systems, Marketo, Tableau and/or Canva preferred
