Job Description:
Lead Cloud Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate seamless migration from on-premises data centers to AWS EKS, ensuring zero downtime.
- Design and build infrastructure and systems that ensure high levels of scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement and manage robust Cron job/DAG schedulers within Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to continuously implement and improve reliable and speedy build environments.
- Develop and provide custom self-service tools for developers to securely manage infrastructure components.
- Lead the transition from traditional release windows to GitOps workflows
- Promote innovation and foster a culture of outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.
- Ensure traceability, observability, and retrievability of system behavior to maintain high standards of system monitoring and logging.
- Design and develop comprehensive CI pipelines for unit tests, contract tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- AWS
- ArgoCD
- 7 years of experience with terraform.
- Extensive experience in site reliability engineering and cloud migrations.
- Proven experience with platforms, application-level development, pipeline build, and automation to support build and testing.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to build enterprise cloud-native solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
- Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to empower developers with custom tools.
