Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid)

Role Overview
A self-starter is sought to drive Risk Management activities in support of a technology division. This role involves supporting a risk portfolio for designated Technology Executives by partnering with their teams to apply subject matter expertise. The objective is to foster a culture of risk identification, escalation, and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. The position offers an opportunity to work with peers across technology teams and provides exposure to senior technology leaders.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite, beginning on day one. Approved locations for this position are Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Jacksonville, FL.

- Collect, analyze, and report data to help make informed decisions and solve problems analytically.
- Apply a mixture of risk and technology expertise to support impact assessments and identify root causes for technology control activities.
- Drive risk reduction for the designated portfolio.
- Monitor the health of issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development and validation.
- Engage effectively with peers and senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk.
- Support functions and routines to maintain a robust risk culture, including adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
- 3 years of internal control, regulatory, audit, risk, compliance, or relevant work experience within a financial services or technology organization.
- Capability to perform work with minimal management oversight and communicate in a clear, concise manner.
- Experience managing through ambiguity and solving problems.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to review documentation for accuracy and report on the status of risk reviews.
- Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global environment.
- Ability to coordinate and drive execution of priorities and meet deadlines.
- Intellectually curious with the ability to research complex issues and drive timely decisions.
- Technology domain knowledge.
- Facilitation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office 365 products; experience using Teams is required.
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree.
- CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar.
- Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena.
- Detailed, bank-specific risk management and governance experience.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners.
