Position: Cognos Administrator
Contract Length: 6 months with potential extension
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cognos Administrator to support a large-scale enterprise environment. This role will focus on standard administration responsibilities-managing servers, performing installations and upgrades, configuring environments, and providing ongoing support. A key part of the assignment includes assisting with the migration of Cognos into new data center environments.
Candidates should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level Cognos implementations and be comfortable operating in complex, high-volume settings.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Support migration activities into new data center environments
- Ensure stability, performance, and availability of Cognos environments
- Collaborate with technical teams to maintain and optimize system operation
- Provide support for users and back-end processes tied to critical reporting function
- (1 year considered if experience includes extremely large enterprise environments)
- Critical due to its role in federal regulatory reporting and stress testing
