Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accountant to support financial reporting and general ledger activities. This role ensures accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards across business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Assist with audits, special projects, and ad hoc reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve reporting and data quality
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and rotational assignments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Must have experience with Mutual Fund Accounting
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or similar)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
- Mutual fund accounting experience
- Reconciliation and data validation expertise
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
