Responsibilities:
- Operate chemical processing equipment to produce various chemical products
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure product quality and workplace safety
- Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal production conditions
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed
- Handle and store chemicals according to safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, machining equipment, and warehouse operations
- Knowledge of materials handling, including the ability to fabricate, package, and transport chemicals safely
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is a plus
