This role is ideal for individuals with experience in low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, data centers, construction, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or logistics. The Cable Technician will assist with installing, organizing, and maintaining cabling systems while following established procedures and safety standards.

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cable Technician to support structured cabling and infrastructure projects in a fast-paced operational environment. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, data centers, construction, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or logistics. The Cable Technician will assist with installing, organizing, and maintaining cabling systems while following established procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, route, label, and secure low-voltage cabling according to project requirements and work instructions.
- Read and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with cable management, infrastructure buildouts, and equipment installations.
- Support inventory tracking, documentation, and ticket updates using computer-based systems.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and operational goals.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to all PPE and safety requirements.
- Assist with moving, positioning, and maneuvering server racks, carts, and related equipment as part of a team.
- Adapt to changing priorities and support additional operational tasks as needed.
- Experience in low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, data centers, construction, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and SOPs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with documentation, ticketing systems, or inventory management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing business needs.
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions.
- Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver equipment and materials throughout the facility.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Previous experience working in a data center or structured cabling environment.
- Familiarity with cable installation standards and best practices.
- Experience working in fast-paced production, warehouse, or construction settings.
