We are seeking an exceptional IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills, and will be committed to delivering high-quality solutions that fully address business requirements.
Core Responsibilities
The IT Business Analyst will:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage project work and facilitate communication among business units, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Elicit and document business requirements (features and user stories) and manage the product backlog.
- Break down user stories into actionable tasks for developers and define acceptance criteria.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and value.
- Support the project lifecycle by:
- Driving adoption of BA processes
- Identifying business needs and evaluating vendor solutions
- Assisting with project documentation and user acceptance testing
- Managing expectations for project completion
- Create mock-ups, data models, and process documentation as needed.
- Ensure iterative development practices are followed and maintain testing plans.
- Provide ongoing support post-delivery to address issues and evolving business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
- 2–3 years of experience in business analysis and IT solution facilitation
- Strong knowledge of requirements gathering and Agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and design skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively under pressure
