Job Description:

Apex Systems is hiring a Business Analyst for a large healthcare client.

Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL

Employment Type: 6 months contract with possibility to extend.

Role Overview

This position involves performing analysis and interpretation to connect business needs with objectives for the assigned function. The role supports business initiatives through data analysis, identifying implementation barriers, and conducting user acceptance testing of new systems.

This team provides financial oversight and operational support for Enterprise Quality initiatives. We are responsible for vendor invoice reconciliation, accrual accuracy, prepaid balance tracking, and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant financial processing.

The role works closely with cross‑functional partners including Accounting, Procurement, and business owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, reconcile, and validate vendor invoices against contracts, SOWs, and purchase orders
  • Coordinate directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies, request corrections, and ensure timely submission
  • Support monthly accruals and prepaid balance tracking
  • Maintain documentation and audit ready support for reconciliations
  • Communicate status updates and issues to internal stakeholders as needed

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: 2 years of business process or data analysis experience. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred. Candidates should have experience documenting business processes and gathering requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or CPA is preferred but not required.

This is a contract opportunity with an anticipated pay rate between $32.00 and $38.00 per hour.
