Location: Seattle, Washington (Onsite)
Compensation: $54 - $64 Hourly
Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a seasonal graphic design professional with creative management experience and a passion for the fashion industry. This role involves conceptual thinking, creating original solutions, and collaborating with creative teams in a fast-paced online environment. The ideal candidate will help shape the brand's visual identity across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Manage creative for the website and online advertising, including email and display ads.
Plan project timelines and budgets, allocating creative resources accordingly.
Contribute to the planning and design of compelling new site content and user experiences.
Manage occasional print, packaging, and environmental creative projects.
Assign projects to graphic designers, site merchandisers, and photographers, refining creative components prior to publishing.
Communicate with creative and retail team members to ensure merchandising plans align with business needs.
Analyze promotion performance data to inform future creative strategy.
Serve as the internal champion and keeper of the brand identity.
Follow market trends and apply an understanding of the contemporary footwear marketplace to maximize creative effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, or commensurate experience is required.
Experience: 10+ years of relevant professional experience is required. Candidates must have a proven ability to apply logic and expertise to identify strengths and weaknesses of creative design solutions and provide clear direction. Experience effectively steering creative direction without micromanaging is necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Flash, HTML, and Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must have a proven ability to solve logistical problems related to design layout and web navigation, along with a high level of design talent and typographic skill.
