Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support the delivery of a new, internally built platform consolidating multiple collections tools into a single, modern solution. This role is critical to enabling a rapid delivery timeline (targeting July–September) by transitioning teams from a predominantly waterfall methodology to Agile.
The Agile Coach will work closely with internal teams and a newly onboarded development vendor, ensuring consistent application of Agile practices aligned with Bank’s Agile methodology. This individual will act as a senior advisor across the program, supporting Scrum Masters, Project/Program Managers, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the transition from waterfall to Agile across multiple delivery teams
- Coach teams on Agile principles, ceremonies, and best practices (Scrum, Agile delivery, continuous improvement)
- Ensure alignment with Bank Agile standards and ways of working, particularly for embedded vendor teams
- Serve as an escalation and advisory point for Agile-related challenges across the program
- Support Scrum Masters and PMs with:
- Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
- Jira and Confluence setup and usage
- Agile reporting, metrics, and delivery health
- Act as an oversight role across teams (similar to a Scrum-of-Scrums support function)
- Identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and process gaps and proactively recommend solutions
- Provide guidance on scaling Agile across 4–8 teams as the program evolves
- Support broader Agile adoption efforts beyond this program, as needed
- Enterprise initiative to replace 25 existing collections tools with a unified platform
- Platform supports collections workflows including call center operations, hardship programs, payment tracking, and recovery processes
- Vendor-led development with full integration into internal teams
- Hundreds of end users (collections agents) impacted
- High emphasis on speed, quality, and consistency of delivery
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach on large, complex enterprise programs
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Scrum and Agile delivery frameworks
- Experience coaching teams through waterfall-to-Agile transformations
- Comfort working across multiple teams simultaneously (4–8 teams)
- Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Ability to work with both internal teams and third-party vendors
- Experience with Bank Agile methodology or prior Bank engagements
- Collections domain experience (any industry)
- Financial services or banking experience
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Initial 6 months, with strong potential for extension
- Location: Remote (travel may be required for occasional working sessions)
- Travel: Possible short-term onsite sessions (e.g., Wisconsin, 1-week working sessions)
