Warehouse Puller

The Warehouse Associate (Puller) position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the transfer process at the Distribution Center location. Reports directly to Distribution Center Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Once items are identified by an internal customer in our system it is the responsibility of the Warehouse Associate (Puller) to ensure merchandise is accurately pulled from stock and staged for delivery.
• At times, the associate will be asked to assist in unloading incoming freight.
• Associate expected to down stock items to ensure full in stock position at all shelf locations while maintaining integrity of bin location system.
• The associate must have a strong knowledge of safety protocols and ensure the warehouse is clean of all debris to minimize trip, slip, or fall hazards.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Demonstrate ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks based on business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma preferred.
• 3 months of experience operating forklift / powered equipment such as lifts, order pickers, etc.
• 6 months of experience in a warehouse environment performing inventory and stocking.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to perform tasks that may require prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
• Willingness to work in an ambient warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
