What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Accountant position at Apex Staffing, Inc.?
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as a Tax Accountant! As a key member of the staff, you'll play a vital role in preparing and filing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for partnerships, trusts, and individuals
- Handle estimated tax returns and annual franchise and license tax returns
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management
What We Look For:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in tax preparation, preferably with Federal and Multi-State income taxes
- Strong knowledge of partnership and individual income taxes, as well as public accounting in tax
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to learn new software
Nice to Have:
- CPA License
