Position Summary
This position will lead Apex’s Installation Department, overseeing end to end signage installs through qualified partners. By strengthening vendor accountability and installation readiness to reduce delays and rework, this role will also improve processes and provide field support to ensure on time, high quality, cost effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning, Coordination and Execution
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Account Managers, Design/Estimating teams to confirm project scope, timelines, client requirements, and installation needs.
- Communicate installation expectations clearly across internal teams and third party partners to ensure timely, high quality execution.
- Manage a network of installers and drive accountability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Apex quality standards.
- Support Project Managers on complex project deliveries to ensure excellent execution.
Vendor Relationship Management
- Identify, screen, and build a network of qualified and reliable signage installation service providers. Foster and maintain strong relationships with installation partners to ensure accountability, quality, and consistency.
- Leverage Apex scale and volume with key installer to obtain best commercial terms and execution.
- Continuously collect feedback on installers and rank them and provide them with incentives to improve.
Project Estimating & Negotiation
- Provide accurate installation and cost estimates based on sign types, geographic location, site conditions, and logistical considerations.
- Leverage industry experience and vendor relationships to negotiate competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
problem Resolution
- Proactively identify and resolve field related challenges, leveraging technical expertise and communication skills to maintain project momentum.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to resolve installation or post-install issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Skill and Experience and Education Requirements
- 3 years of experience in construction, installation, or project management
- Knowledge of sign installations preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- ERP system experience a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Office-based role with occasional travel within the building or to nearby locations.

- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. (e.g., moving equipment, hardware installations).
