Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical components, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulations.
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions for customers.
- Lead and mentor apprentice and journeyman electricians as needed.
- Provide accurate estimates and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and new installations.
- Install and service panels, breakers, lighting, outlets, switches, EV chargers, generators, and other electrical equipment.
- Maintain detailed job documentation and service records.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work.
- Participate in company and manufacturer training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina required for electrical installation and repair work.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment.
Qualifications
- Current Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations.
- Experience with residential service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
