Electrical Service Operations Manager

As we continue to grow our local brands throughout the Minneapolis market, we're looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Service Operations Manager to lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of residential electricians.

As the Electrical Service Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our electrical service department, leading residential electricians and field leaders, driving operational performance, supporting recruiting efforts, and implementing the systems and structure needed to support continued growth. You'll play a key role in developing talent, improving customer satisfaction, and scaling electrical operations throughout the Minneapolis market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential electricians and field leaders to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build, recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top residential electrical talent to support continued market growth.
• Create a high-performance culture centered on accountability, teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily electrical service operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, productivity, quality workmanship, and execution.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve revenue, profitability, electrician performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leadership, dispatch, customer service, and sales teams to align operational execution with company objectives.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field audits, and job site visits to support employee development, quality assurance, and technical excellence.
• Drive accountability around safety standards, licensing requirements, code compliance, and company policies.
• Manage customer escalations and ensure timely, effective resolution of service concerns.
• Develop and implement scalable systems, processes, and best practices that support operational excellence and future growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, electrician productivity, employee engagement, and overall business performance.
• Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who supports both field and office teams.
• Play a key role in developing future electrical leaders and building the organizational structure necessary to support a growing business.

What You Bring:

• 3 years of leadership experience within electrical service, home services, field service, or related operational environments.
• Proven success leading teams, developing talent, and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical service operations.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and retain high-performing teams of residential electricians.
• Experience managing residential electricians, apprentices, and field leaders preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operational metrics and a track record of driving performance improvements.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and employee development.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management platforms is preferred.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to spend significant time in the field coaching and supporting team members.
