Role Description
The Door-to-Door Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site position based in Hoover, AL. This role is responsible for generating new business by canvassing residential and commercial neighborhoods, educating property owners about roofing and restoration services, and scheduling free roof inspections.
Responsibilities include identifying potential customers, building relationships, qualifying leads, conducting basic property assessments, documenting customer interactions, and coordinating with project managers to ensure a seamless customer experience. Representatives will maintain assigned territories, follow up with prospects, and help guide homeowners through the restoration and insurance claims process when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous door-to-door, outside sales, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals
- Willingness to learn roofing, restoration, and insurance claim processes
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking assigned neighborhoods in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in roofing, construction, or insurance claims is a plus, but not required
