About the Role
This is more than a traditional patient accounts position.
As the Patient Accounts Supervisor (Revenue Cycle), you’ll lead the patient-facing side of the revenue cycle by overseeing inbound and outbound patient account activities, payment plans, self-pay collections, and escalated patient concerns. You’ll coach and develop your team while helping create an exceptional patient financial experience across a growing, multi-state healthcare organization.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the Patient Accounts team.
- Oversee inbound patient calls, outbound self-pay collections, and payment plans.
- Handle escalated patient account concerns and approve payment plan exceptions.
- Monitor team productivity, quality, service levels, and financial recovery.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, TCPA, PCI-DSS, and No Surprises Act requirements.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to improve patient satisfaction and operational performance.
- Drive process improvements and support ongoing team development.
What You’ll Bring
- 5 years of healthcare revenue cycle, patient accounts, or patient financial services experience.
- 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience with patient collections, payment plans, and customer service.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and patient financial services.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
