Corrugated experience is a plus—but not required. If you know machinery and can lead people, they can teach the rest.What’s in it for you:Competitive salary around $90k (open depending on experience)1st shift leadership role with required flexibility to support 2nd shift breakdownsDirect Hire—join the team permanently from day oneWork for a growing, exciting company undergoing plant expansion & equipment upgradesStrong benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement)Opportunity to build and develop your own team of maintenance techniciansWhat your day will look like:Lead, coach, and mentor maintenance technicians on 1st and 2nd shiftOversee preventive maintenance programs and equipment uptimeSchedule technicians and manage daily workflowTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)Support installation of new equipment during ongoing expansionEnsure safety compliance, including lockout/tag-outCommunicate repair activities and equipment status clearly and effectivelyWork hands-on while also developing long-term maintenance strategiesCollaborate across operations to improve productivity, waste, and overall equipment performanceWhat we’re looking for:Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical & electrical skills; electrical certification preferredAbility to read/interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsProficiency with hydraulic & pneumatic systemsSkilled with shop tools (welders, grinders, drill press, torch equipment, etc.)Corrugated/converting experience nice to have, but not requiredExcellent problem-solving skills and willingness to teach/mentor othersComputer literacy (Microsoft Office and digital maintenance tracking)At Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.Your unique experiences and perspectives matter, and we’re excited to see how you may contribute.
