Vision Therapy Administrator Assistant Job Description

About us

Imagine the following scenes …

Scenario 1:

A child has spent hours struggling with his homework. His parents are frustrated. They’ve tried tutoring, they’ve had experts evaluate their son for dyslexia and ADHD, they’ve tried both the carrot and the stick. Nothing seems to work. His siblings are jealous that their parents’ attention is on the struggling child. The child himself is actively trying, but working harder isn’t helping. He starts to think that he just isn’t smart, his confidence starts to plummet, and he starts to withdraw into himself.

Scenario 2:

A college athlete has everything going her way. Then suddenly, a car accident changes everything. She was told that symptoms would go away in a few weeks, but it’s been months. Her light sensitivity has made even interior lighting almost unbearable. She was a straight-A student, but now she can barely read for 15 minutes before she starts to get headaches or feel sick. And forget about sports – the dizziness and double vision have put an end to that.

And then they meet … YOU, and YOU tell them that YOU CAN HELP.

If sounds like a work of fiction, it is not. These are the types of patients that we see every day at Apex Performance Vision. We want to TRAIN YOU how to help our patients navigate the vision therapy process so they can to achieve a level of performance that they have never reached before or regain the quality of life they had prior to their traumatic brain injury.
