Apex Pediatric Therapy Services is dedicated to helping children live happier and more fulfilling lives. We provide ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy to children and adolescents aged 2 to 21 years in home and community settings throughout the Chicagoland area, including Cook, Lake, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, McHenry, and Will Counties. Guided by data-driven techniques and standards set by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB), our team of BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians tailors treatment plans to ensure positive and meaningful behavioral changes in each child.

Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Crystal Lake, IL, for a ABA Floater/Scheduler at Apex Pediatric Therapy Services. The ABA Floater/Scheduler will assist with scheduling appointments, ensuring proper coordination between clients and therapists, and cover for absent ABA therapists providing therapeutic support as needed. Key duties include communicating with families and staff, keeping schedules up to date, and addressing any changes or cancellations. As the therapist you will work with children in either at the clinic or at the home of the client, depending on the need. This role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in scheduling, coordinating appointments, and managing calendars
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, families, and teammates
- Organizational abilities and attention to detail to maintain accurate schedules and records
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and scheduling software
- Ability to handle changes or unexpected challenges with a calm and professional demeanor
- Prior experience in healthcare, therapy services, or a similar administrative role is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
- Additional training or certification is advantageous as we require our therapists to earn their RBT certificate
