Responsibilities
- Operate Haas CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, to produce complex parts with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and digital height gages to verify dimensions.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling offsets; perform setups efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols including proper use of hand tools, power tools and forklift operation when necessary.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with CAM programming software is desirable.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings
- Ability to work with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and digital height gages to ensure tight tolerances.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and measurements accurately.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
