Position: ServiceNow Technical Architect
Location: Hybrid, Harrisburg, PA
Duration: Long term
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations, that meet client needs and industry best practices.
· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams to ensure the successful execution of ServiceNow projects.
· Perform assessments and evaluations of existing ServiceNow implementations, offering recommendations for improvements.
· Responsible for developing/administering technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and beyond.
· Applies Good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform while making informed recommendations to process users.
· Applies innovative technology to business processes to develop new solutions and troubleshoot issues
· Consults with business analyst/Process Leaders to develop appropriate technical solutions in Service Now
· Follows up on outstanding development needs and provides timely status reports to the project manager
· Advises on options, risk and impacts on business/ITIL processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- ITOM CSDM Design Architecture, Architect Diagrams, Technical documents, ServiceNow Health Assessments
- ServiceNow Certifications : CTA, CSA, CIS ITSM CIS Discovery, ServiceNow Ops Technology.
- 10 years of IT experience with 7 years in ServiceNow architecture, development, and administration.
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform design, custom applications, integrations, CMDB/CSDM, and workflow automation.
- Proven success leading enterprise ServiceNow implementations and platform assessments.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM best practices and their technical application within ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and security/access controls.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and advise stakeholders on solution options, risks, and impacts.
- ServiceNow CSA required; CAD and CIS certifications strongly preferred.
- Experience in hospitality or other large, complex enterprise environments preferred.
