Scope of Work & Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive data analysis and data management for various COVID Data Dashboards.
• Manage the distribution of COVID data to external public entities and public stakeholders.
• Perform end-to-end data management and analytic tasks, including researching and documenting technical designs and programming solutions.
• Author and execute unit test plans, as well as research, resolve, and re-test defect reports.
• Provide ongoing customer technical support and work in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members.
Candidate Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications (Pass / Fail Criteria)
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent from an accredited institution. A legible copy of the degree MUST be submitted with the
Candidate Proposal Response.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with development in medium to large-scale technical projects, assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with data analytics including processing, reporting, transformation, and visualization.
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications (Scored Technical Criteria - Up to 10 Points Each)
• 6 years of experience with Python-based data analytics projects.
• 6 years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows).
• 6 years of experience with developing and maintaining data processing and ETL pipelines.
• 6 years of experience with developing cloud-native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms.
• 6 years of experience in designing and implementing data visualizations with large datasets (1 million records) on analytics platforms such as Tableau.
