Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Mechanical Journeyman to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical systems within mining and manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery equipment and mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Operate equipment such as fork lifts, aerial lifts, & scissor lifts safely for access to high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance activities.
- Perform field services activities by providing mechcanical and rigging on-site at various manufacturing locations.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs, work in the sun and rain. Work is based outside in the heat and also rainy weather.
- Looking for hard workers who are skilled in their trade and follow safety policies.
- Must be able to work with others and have a positive attitude.
- Knowledge in mining equipment is a requirement. ie field pumps, conveyors, dredges, classifiers, piping removal and install, structural steel.
- Hours and locations vary per shift. locations change daily and must drive to each site.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or journeyman in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Valid journeyman certification or equivalent in industrial mechanics or related trade.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics,
- Skilled in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering diagrams for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers.
- Experience operating telehandler, aerial lifts, scissor lifts and other elevated work platforms safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze equipment failures quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards related to welding procedures, and machinery maintenance.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
