Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery. We specialize in industrial dust collection and environmental air systems, but also do maintenance and repair as well as structural work. We are a new small business but growing more every month. We have some out of town work here and there, and we will pay $180 a day per diem for out of town.
Must be an Oregon resident.
Responsibilities
- Install, align, and assemble machinery using precision measuring instruments and schematics to ensure accurate setup and operation.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct welding (including welding) as needed for equipment repair or modification projects.
- Operate industrial machinery such as scissor lifts and boom lifts safely for maintenance tasks at various heights.
- Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Skilled in equipment troubleshooting, repair techniques, welding (including welding), and precision measurement instruments.
