Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Shop Operations & Maintenance:
- Perform parts cleaning and sandblasting on components.
- Conduct routine shop equipment maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient workspace.
- Assist experienced repair technicians with hands-on mechanical and technical repairs.
- Quality Control & Finishing:
- Balance completed repairs using specialized testing equipment.
- Handle final painting and tagging of completed repairs to ensure professional presentation.
- Logistics & Support:
- Serve as a secondary backup driver for picking up or delivering repair items as needed.
- Safety & Physical Compliance:
- Strictly observe all safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Safely lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects to perform regular work duties.
- Driver’s License: Must maintain a valid Illinois Driver’s License in good standing.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically active shop duties.
- Attitude: A proactive, team-oriented mindset with high enthusiasm and a competitive, tenacious drive to succeed.
